Raw Diet Recipe

Fresh healthful Spinach Salad with scallions, a bit of lemon and olive oil and freshly ground pepper to taste.

Spinach Salad


2 bunches fresh spinach
1 bunch scallions, chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 tablespoon olive oil
1-1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds
1-quart freshy washed, hulled and sliced strawberries
1/4 cup slivered almonds
Freshly ground pepper to taste

Recipe Directions

Wash spinach well. Drain and chop. After a few minutes, squeeze excess water.

Add scallions, lemon juice, oil, poppy seeds and pepper. Mix well.

Top with fresh, sliced strawberries and sprinkle with slivered almonds.
