Pizza Pot Pies
Low Fat Recipe
Pizza Pot Pies with fat free franks in marinara sauce and ricotta and Parmesan cheeses, Italian seasoning and Mozzarella in a pizza dough crust.
1 package (14 ounces) fat free franks
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup low fat ricotta cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
2 cups shredded part skim mozzarella cheese
1 tube refrigerated pizza crust dough
Preheat oven to 350-degrees.
Combine the fat free franks with the marinara sauce; mix well and spoon into four oven-safe bowls, small souffle dishes, or large ramekins. In a bowl, combine ricotta, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Mix well. Top franks-sauce mixture with cheese mixture then top with the mozzarella. Cover each bowl with a pizza dough square. Prick holes in the top with a fork so the steam can escape.
Place all four bowls on a cookie sheet and bake 30 minutes or until the tops are lightly browned and the edges are bubbling. Let Pizza Pot Pies stand for ten minutes before serving.
