Cheesy Noodle Bake
Low Fat Recipe
Cheesy Noodle Bake using cottage cheese, Cheddar cheese, sour cream and egg substitute to keep fat at a minimum.
2 cups cooked pasta
1 cup low fat cottage cheese
3/4 cup reduced fat Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup low fat sour cream
1/3 cup green onion, chopped
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup egg substitute
Salt and black pepper to taste
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray a 9-inch square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Pour into baking dish and press into the bottom.
Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes or until center is set and edges are golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes and cut into 9 pieces.
This recipe can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for up to three weeks in the refrigerator or at room temperature.
