Low Carb Recipe
>Amaretto Cheesecake tastes just like the liquer without having any in it. Unflavored gelatin blends with cream cheese, heavy cream, vanilla, Davinci Amaretto syrup, cocoa and Splenda for sweetness.
1 packet unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup water
8 ounce box softened cream cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup *Da Vinci Sugar Free Amaretto Syrup
2 teaspoons baking cocoa
6 packets Splenda
2 squares sugar free chocolate, for grating (optional)
* DaVinci's Sugar Free Amaretto Syrup is a nonalcoholic version of the sweet almond liqueur from Italy. Sweetened with Splenda for world-class flavor.
Whip 3/4 cup cream until very stiff; set aside.
Dissolve gelatin in cold water.
Heat 1/4 cup cream in a medium bowl in the microwave until very hot.
Cut cream cheese in small pieces and add to cream. Add gelatin, vanilla, cocoa, syrup, and sweetener. Beat well with electric mixer. Fold in whipped cream.
Pour into 8-inch pie pan or line regular size muffin cups with paper and divide mixture evenly among the 12 cups.
Refrigerate about 2 hours until firm. When firm, grate 2 squares of the chocolate bar over the top as a garnish.
