Low Carb Recipe

Crabmeat Au Gratin with canned crabmeat, cream, lemon, shredded Cheddar, dash of Worcestershire and a pinch paprika.

Shrimp Gumbo


1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon not/starch (or other thickener)
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup water
1 can crabmeat
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Dash Worcestershire sauce
Pinch paprika

Recipe Directions

Heat oven to 375 degrees.

Melt butter in pan. Mix in not/starch and salt and pepper. Stir over low heat until well blended.

Gradually stir in cream mixed with water. Cook, stirring until thick and smooth. Mix in cheese, Worcestershire and paprika. When melted, stir in crab. Place in buttered casserole. Bake 25 minutes. Serve with Faux Rice.
