1 cup frozen strawberries, chopped
1 kiwifruit, peeled and chopped
1 cup peaches, canned or fresh, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons apple, apricot, or strawberry jelly or jam
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice, preferably fresh squeezed
Note: The fruit can be chopped by hand or placed in a food processor and pulsed to the consistency of salsa.
Wash fruit well before chopping. Place chopped fruit in bowl. Mix jelly with orange juice and brown sugar. Serve with cinnamon tortilla chips or graham crackers.
Let's be spooky, let's have fun
And talk of spells and ghostly ones.
Haunted houses, creaking bones,
foggy evenings, zombie moans!
Bobbing for apples is thought to have originated from the roman harvest festival that honors Pamona, the goddess of fruit trees.
