Made using puff pastry covered chicken, Dead Fingers are molded and decorated to look like real dead fingers!
1 puff pastry sheet
1 cup boiled chicken, shredded
2 tablespoons caster sugar
1 egg, whisked
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoons butter
1 pinch red food color
Few almond slices
1 tablespoon sugar syrup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In pan melt butter and fry chicken for 4 to 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread the puff pastry sheet on a clean surface and cut into 4 6-inch-wide strips. Place 1 tablespoon of chicken length wise at the center of each strip and shape them in the form of finger. Brush with egg.
Mix food color with sugar syrup and dip almonds in it. Place each almond slice at the place of fingertip.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
Dust with caster sugar when cooled.
