2 cups broccoli florets, cooked crisp-tender
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup reduced sodium chicken broth
3/4 cup fat free half-and-half or milk
1/4 cup dry white wine or fat-free milk
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon dried savory leaves
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
Salt, to taste
Cayenne, to taste
White pepper, to taste
3 to 4 tablespoons unseasoned dry breadcrumbs
