Two variations of delicious, sweet strawberry pie - a fruit filled version and a sugar free version.

Strawberry Fruit Pie

A simple strawberry fruit pie using strawberry flavor sugar free gelatin dessert, ice cubes, fresh strawberries. Very strawberry and very good.

1-1/2 cups boiling water
1 package (8-serving size) strawberry flavor sugar free gelatin dessert
1 cup ice cubes
2 pints strawberries, sliced
1 whole graham cracker, crushed

Recipe Directions

Spray 9-inch pie plate with no stick cooking spray.

Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl 2 minutes or until dissolved. Add ice cubes, stirring until melted.

Refrigerate 30 minutes or until slightly thickened.

Stir in strawberries. Pour into pie plate. Sprinkle crumbs around edge of pie. Refrigerate three hours or until firm.

Sugar Free Strawberry Pie

1-1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 (0.3 ounce) package strawberry sugar free gelatin
4 packets Splenda or other sugar substitute
3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell, cooled
Cool Whip Lite

Combine water and cornstarch in medium saucepan; stir well. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook 1 minute. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add gelatin and sugar substitute, stirring well. Gently stir in strawberries, and pour into crust. Cover and chill at least 3 hours. Cover with Cool Whip and serve.
