Nature’s Circulation Cleansing Cures

Nature’s Circulation and Cleansing Cures

Ginkgo, ginger and cayenne are herbs that can help problems caused by poor circulation. Poor circulation can cause build up of toxins, hypertension, hardening of the arteries, Buergers and Raynauds disease. When circulation to the legs is poor, varicose veins can occur. There is also atherosclerosis, a very serious disease.

Ginkgo Biloba is an all-round circulation booster. It is known most commonly for its ability to improve memory, because it helps increase blood flow through the brain. In Germany, Gingko is used by physicians to treat varicose veins.

Ginkgo can improve blood circulation and strengthen your blood vessels. It helps reduce inflammation, relaxes the lungs, improves blood flow to the heart, reduces shortness of breath and is helpful in asthma.

Ginger increases circulation to the muscles in the body. Ginger provides the body with extra blood and oxygen to fight toxins. It also helps relieve pain and inflammation.

Ginger has a long history of therapeutic use in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. Chinese herbalists recommend ginger for routine body temperature regulation. Ginger is also regarded as a great supportive herb for the cardiovascular system.

Cayenne Peppers

Cayenne can be used externally for poor circulation. Capsicum based creams, liniments, and infused oils can be rubbed onto the skin. Avoid the eyes and other sensitive area of the body. It can have the same sting on your eyes and skin as it does in your mouth.

Internally cayenne can stimulate your heart, regulate blood flow and strengthen your arteries. Cayenne can be taken as powder in a capsule or as a liquid tincture. Research has also shown that cayenne, referred to as a hot herb, can raise your metabolic rate by as much as 25 percent. This means it can assist in weight loss efforts.

Garlic and Onions

Add garlic and onions to your meals. They also assist circulation, cleanse the blood, tone the heart and circulatory system and reduce the risk of atherosclerosis. That’s just for starters. Onions help relax your muscles as well.

Here is a quick, circulation-stimulating recipe you can whip up in a juicer that includes ginger.

The carrots provide beta carotene,  which is needed in helping the blood circulate and detoxify.

Carrot Juice

6 large carrots
1 apple, cored
1, 1-inch piece ginger

Pass all ingredients through a juicer. Drink immediately.

Tackling Toxins

Tackling Toxins

In harmony with mother nature, your body strives to restore health every millisecond you are alive; however, this can happen only when the specific needs of the body are met. When these needs are not met, unpleasant symptoms can develop, some a nuisance, others very serious. Toxins build up, stress takes its toll and signs of aging become more pronounced.

Toxins also challenge the continual restoration process, making your body work a bit harder to achieve its goals. When its over-taxed, we become fatigued, stressed, or worst of all, ill. It all begins with various symptoms.

Symptoms are signals from your body that something is wrong and ignoring them can be risky. The human body needs many elements on a regular basis to thrive and be as healthy as possible. Those needs include:
Mr Happy

  • Enzymes
  • Oxygen
  • Clean water
  • Vitamins and minerals
  • Proper pH balance
  • Healthy digestion & elimination
  • Healthy emotions
  • Love
  • Sense of purpose

Looking at that list, do you really think being angered by and condemning that smoker down the street – who, by the way, is just another human being like yourself, just as in need of human elements as you are – is a healthful and positive approach in life or, do you get back to reality and attempt to understand the vast multitude of factors in EVERY ONE’S daily life that expose us to toxins?

The choice is yours, but make that choice with the knowledge that the one thing anyone can do is strive for better overall fitness. Exercise helps – any kind at any duration you are comfortable with. Practicing positive thoughts and kindness and understanding toward others is a tremendous boost both psychologically and physically. Attempts to avoid toxins or embark upon a detoxification program can help tremendously.

We’ve all accumulated many years of toxins – just by be being alive. Vilifying that smoker isn’t going to do a darned thing to help you or anyone else. You most likely need some detoxification in your own life just as much as that person probably does. In fact, the act of getting angry in itself sets off a negative reaction that is toxic to your body.

Example: You just walked in your door, angered from seeing a cluster of people smoking cigarettes outside your workplace.  You coughed and waved your hand so they would KNOW THEY ANGERED YOU! You’ve just started a toxic effect in your own body with your anger. Then you go start a load of laundry with chemical laden laundry soap. Next, you head into the bathroom and use chemically laden bathroom cleaner to clean the tub, sink and toilet. Then, pressed for time, you run to the nearest fast food joint for supper, loading yourself up with preservatives, processed foods and bad fats.

  • You exposed yourself and every family member to chemicals in laundry products.
  • You exposed every person that enters your home to the chemicals in your cleaning products.
  • You exposed yourself and your family to preservatives, bad fats, etc.

Are you REALLY any better?

Detoxing Daily Toxins

There is a myriad of little things you can do to reduce exposure to toxins. But there are also many toxins none of us can avoid. Many in the very air we breathe daily. This is why assisting the body in ridding itself of toxins has become so popular. We’re on overload and in many ways at no fault (or control) of our own.

In the beginning of any kind of detox attempt your body goes through a process of eliminating the toxins, whereby it has to “dump” them into your bloodstream in order to find the most suitable “exit”. This “exit” could be the liver, kidneys, skin or other detox mechanism in your body. In some, this can cause uncomfortable symptoms. If you develop some unpleasant symptoms from detox, take comfort that they are temporary. Minor discomfort can include symptoms such as fatigue and/or mild headache. Overall, most people don’t experience any negative symptoms.

We’re not talking about any long, drawn out detox program here; frankly, we don’t believe in those. What we’re talking about here is everyday changes you can make in every day things you do and/or consume that will reduce your body’s exposure to toxins that will, hopefully, become permanent changes in your life.

The use of natural products for body care and cleansing, along with the consumption of more natural foods with limited preparation is highly recommended.  Whatever choice – or choices – you make, do so with the fact in mind that this is one of the most natural, healthful ways to overall physical fitness. Getting angry with everything and everyone you don’t like only adds to toxic misery.

The best health care starts with and within you.

Doing the Detox

What is Detox?

Detox basically means ridding your body of toxins for health purposes. A toxin is:

Any substance that creates irritating and/or harmful effects in the body, undermining our health or stressing our biochemical or organ functions. – Dr. Elson Haas

External Toxins

Detox external toxins
Detox external toxins

Many toxins are ingested through the foods we eat on a daily basis. Did you know that we are exposed to more toxins by activities as seemingly harmless as taking our daily shower?

For example, the water exposes us to chlorine and other contaminants. Body soap exposes us to artificial coloring, fragrance, sudsing agents etc. Creams and lotions are full of synthetic chemicals (the skin is the largest detoxification organ). Deodorant contains aluminum among other toxic substances. Perfumes and after shaves contain harmful ingredients we absorb through our hair and skin all day long. If you use hairspray, you expose your skin and lungs to further toxins. When you put on your clothing, you’re exposed to toxin residue from laundry soaps, dryer sheets or dry-cleaning chemicals.

Internal Toxins

Now you’re all ready to meet your day so you grab a bowl of whole grain cereal because this is a healthy breakfast. BUT – even that healthy cereal contains preservatives. The milk you pour on your cereal contains growth hormones, synthetic estrogen, antibiotics, etc. These are chemicals used in the raising of dairy cows. That glass of orange juice you had with your breakfast? Contains residues of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and fertilizers. The same with that apple you grab for a snack.

But do take heart. While this can all sound daunting and hopeless, the good news is that God has created our bodies with mechanisms to prevent an overflow of toxins. Unfortunately, we have toxic chemicals forced upon us by government regulations. The very government that claims to “care” about our health is more likely causing us more disease than one can comprehend. We don’t like to get political here, but the truth is, government is BAD for our collective health. The sooner you accept, understand and become informed, the more you can help yourself. Pretending it isn’t so is like playing Russian roulette.

Doing the Detox

When you wish to detox your body, the manner in which you do so is important. Some detox programs can make you feel worse or even sicken you. The water-only detox approach, for example, prevents your brain from obtaining much needed fuel requirements. Your body is deprived of fuel which will break down muscle tissue.

Avoidance of as many toxins as humanely possible in this day and age of over-done regulations is one way you can help yourself. Assisting your body naturally in a detoxification process to those toxins forced upon is another.

There are many programs, pills and procedures touted for benefits. Thus far the best formula is learning and practicing avoidance to the best of your ability and using a gentle, all natural aid such as Detox Drops. Detox Drops support the body’s natural ability to remove toxins and waste by-products, without harmful side effects.

Don’t forget to work up a sweat several times a week! Sweating is a great way to promote cleansing and body detox.

Detoxing will make you feel much better. When you detox naturally, safely and gently you will:

  • Create more energy.
  • Improve your mental clarity.
  • Balance your weight.
  • Eliminate sluggish, “unwell” symptoms.
  • Reduce pain.
  • Reduce cellulite.
