Ryzon Applesauce Cake
Wheat Free Recipe
Corn and buckwheat flours, spices of cinnamon, cloves and allspice with plump sweet raisins and honey to sweeten.
1 cup corn flour
3/4 cup buckwheat flour *
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 cup raisins
3/4 cup honey
1 cup applesauce
Mix and sift dry ingredients. Add raisins, honey, and apple sauce, beating thoroughly.
Bake in loaf tin 45 minutes, in moderate 350 to 375 degree oven.
Yield: 1 Cake
