Easy Cherry Jelly
|
Directions:
Rinse cherries and remove the stems.
Combine cherries and water in saucepan.
Bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer five minutes.
Strain; reserve juice.
Add sugar replacement and pectin to 1-cup of juice, adding extra water, if necessary, to make up the juice.
Stir to completely blend and return to heat.
Bring back to boil, boil for one minute and then remove from heat. Boil slightly.
Pour into serving dish or jelly jar. Chill.
Yield: 3/4-cup jelly
Calories per tablespoon: 6
Exchange per tablespoon: 1/8 fruit
