Meat Gravy and Barbecue Sauce Paleolithic Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup meat drippings or broth
1 cup nutmilk
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon arrowroot
Directions:
Add arrowroot to nutmilk and stir well. Add to dripping and cook on low
stirring constantly until gravy is thickened.

Barbecue Sauce or Marinade
Ingredients:
1/4 cup EV olive oil
1 branch fresh dill, crushed
1/4 teaspoon chopped, fresh tarragon
1/4 teaspoon summer savory
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon fresh grated lemon peel
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Directions:
Heat the oil in a small saucepan, add the herbs, pepper and lemon peel. Let
brew over a very low heat for about 4 - 5 minutes. Do not cook! Remove from
heat and stir in the lemon juice. Use as a basting sauce or as a cold
marinade for fish steaks.
