Delicious apple cider made with tangy orange and lemon along with maple syrup or honey, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and ginger.
Recipe Ingredients
2 quarts apple cider or juice
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
2 tablespoons maple syrup or raw honey
4 sticks cinnamon
6 whole cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
Recipe Directions
In large saucepan, combine all of the ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, and simmer the cider for 30-40 minutes. Strain and serve hot. Serves 16.
