Sensible Chocolate Chip Snack Cake



Ingredients:
2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup nonfat milk
3 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted
One egg white
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
One, 12-ounce package semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided

Directions:
In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Stir in applesauce, milk, margarine, egg white and vanilla just until blended. Stir in 1-cup morsels. Spoon into greased 9 x 9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining morsels. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 25 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan. Cut into 2-1/4-inch bars.
