Microwave Sweet Snack Nuts Low Salt Recipe
3 cups nuts: Walnuts, almonds or pecans, or a combination
1/3 cup confectioner's sugar
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Combine first 3 ingredients in a microwave safe dish. Microwave uncovered 3 minutes on high. Remove and stir to coat all the nuts. Let stand 3 minutes before spreading on waxed paper.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and cinnamon and allow to cool before serving.
Entire batch contains only 9mg sodium.
