Low Sodium Recipe
Use zucchini or crookneck squash for this healthy vegetable side dish seasonied with oregano.
1-1/2 pounds yellow zucchini or crookneck squash
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon unsalted butter
Place squash in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover saucepan and steam five minutes, or until just tender. Stir in butter, oregano and salt and black pepper to taste before serving.
For chicken vegetable soup, stir in 2 cups diced cooked chicken breast in with the milk-flour mixture.
