
Stir-Fried Cajun Pork

If you love Cajun flavors this pork dish will be no exception with its paprika, cayenne, garlic, oregano, thyme, cumin and nutmeg seasonings.
Recipe Ingredients
1-1/2 tablespoons paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 pound boneless pork loin, cut into 1/2 inch thin strips
1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
1/2 tart apple, cored and diced
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
Recipe Directions
Combine first 9 ingredients in a bowl. Mix well and sprinkle 1-tablespoon seasoning mixture over pork strips.
Combine remaining ingredients, except oil, with 1 tablespoon seasoning in a bowl and set aside.
Heat oil in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Stir-fry pork 2-3 minutes. Add apple and pepper mixture. Cook another 2-3 minutes until pork is cooked throughout. Serve immediately.
