Roasted Red Potatoes Low Salt/Sodium Recipe
Roasting potatoes is a great alternative to frying -- and just think, all that excess fat you're trimming won't be able to make you feel bloated and weighed down!
Ingredients:
1-1/2 tablespoon Mrs. Dash Original Blend, divided
12 small red potatoes, cut into wedges
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
|
|
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Add olive oil and melted butter to a large bowl, add potatoes, 1-tablespoon Mrs. Dash Original Blend and toss. Place on a cookie sheet, and roast for 30 minutes. Increase heat to 450 degrees. Sprinkle with remaining Mrs. Dash Original Blend and continue to roast for 5 to 10 minutes or until tender and browned. Recipe makes 4 low salt/low sodium servings.
