Old Fashioned Nectarine Crisp
Low Sodium Recipe
Once you have peeled and diced your nectarines, this is a snap. Just mix them with sugar, combine flour, cinnamon and unsalted butter for your topping and bake.
3-1/2 pounds nectarines, peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup sugar
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place nectarines in a 12 x 8 inch glass baking dish. Combine next three ingredients in a bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake about one hour, until bubbly and crisp.
