Low Salt-Sodium Recipe

By

You do not get much more basic than this! Just stone ground flour and water are used to make these tender biscuits.

There are several advantages to stone-ground wheat flour. The endosperm, bran, and germ remain in their natural, original proportions. Because the stones grind slowly, the wheat germ is not exposed to excessive temperatures.

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups stone ground flour
1 cup water

Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour

Recipe Directions

Cut into rounded biscuits about 3-inch in diameter. Poke holes in each biscuit with fork. Place on floured cookie sheet. Bake at 400-degrees for about 40 minutes.
