
Microwave Almond Fudge

Almond and chocolate - nummy, especially in this fudge that also includes chopped almonds for more almond flavor along with their many nutrients
Recipe Ingredients
1/2 cup cocoa powder
3-1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped almonds
Recipe Directions
Place first five ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Cook on high for about 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and beat until smooth. Stir in almonds.
Pour into a buttered 8 inch square pan. Let cool or refrigerate until firm, then cut into squares.
