Low Fat Recipe

These Energy Cookies are packed full of healthy, energizing ingredients including currants, apricots, whole wheat flour, wheat germ, peanut butter, honey and oats.

Energy Cookies in the cookie jar


1 cup currants
1 cup dried apricots
1/2 cup fat free milk
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup 100-percent whole wheat flour
1/3 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup 100-percent pure peanut butter
3/4 cup liquid honey
1 cup large flake oats

Recipe Directions

Stir all ingredients together with a wooden spoon.

Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.

Bake Energy Cookies at 375-degrees for 12 minutes.
