1 tablespoon plus 1-teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
1/2 cup unsweetened orange juice
1/2 cup water
1 pound frozen sweet cherries, thawed
1/4 cup brandy
2 cups nonfat vanilla frozen yogurt
Combine cornstarch, sugar and orange zest in a large skillet. Whisk in orange juice and water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in cherries and reduce heat to medium low. Simmer ten minutes or until sauce thickens. Add brandy to cherries.
When mixture begins to simmer, keeping face and body away from saucepan, ignite quickly with a lit match. When flames subside, serve with frozen yogurt.
