Low Fat Recipe
Speedy and Good-For-You-Pizza! Use a 12 inch pizza crust pre made and top with the sauce, mushrooms, bell pepper, onion and Mozzarella cheese.
3 cups chopped portabello mushrooms
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 crushed garlic cloves
2 teaspoons fennel seeds
1-1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
3/4 teaspoon crushed red bell pepper
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 12-inch thin pizza crust (such as Boboli)
1 8-oz. can no salt added tomato sauce
1-1/2 cup chopped red or green bell pepper
1-1/2 cups of chopped red onion
3/4 cup shredded part-skim low-fat Mozzarella cheese
Place crust on a large pizza pan.
Combine topping ingredients.
Top with the sauce, mushrooms, pepper, onion, cheese. Bake in a preheated 450-degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Cut into 6 slices.
