Fat Free Meatloaf
Low Fat Recipe
There is less than one gram of fat per serving which, by FDA standards, can be considered no-fat. Just be sure you have the 95-percent fat-free meat - otherwise adjust the fat amount accordingly.
1-1/2 pound 95 percent fat free ground beef
1/2 onion , diced
2 egg whites
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 cup water
Mix all ingredients together and put in loaf pan. Bake in oven at 350-degrees for approximately 1 to 1-1/2 hour.

The oatmeal in this meatloaf replaces the usual bread crumbs to lend texure and hold the loaf together. In addition, oatmeal is a good source of fiber, protein, manganese, and selenium. Furthermore, the fiber present in oats and oatmeal is now linked with lower cholesterol levels.
