Hot Dog Soup

Directions: Heat oil in a medium soup pot over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook 5 minutes, until softened. Stir in sauerkraut, hot dogs, broth, water, mustard, sugar substitute and bay leaf. Simmer 5 minutes for flavors to blend. Remove bay leaf. Add salt and pepper to taste. This recipe yields 4 servings.
