Low Carbohydrate Recipe
Allow your Caramelized Bacon to cool slightly before serving. Serve with low carb muffins for breakfast for a change from eggs. Brown sugar caramelizes into a sweet glaze for the bacon.
1 cup brown Sugar Twin
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pound thick sliced bacon
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a shallow bowl, mix brown sugar twin and cinnamon. Dip bacon slices in the mixture until lightly coated.
Arrange bacon in a single layer on a baking sheet with edges. Bake 10 to 15 minutes in the oven, turning once.
Bake until dark golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve with low carb muffins for breakfast for a change from eggs.
