Cabbage Lasagna

Directions: Boil cabbage until tender then set aside, saving 2 cups of liquid. Combine 2 cups of liquid, oregano, tomato paste, salt and pepper and simmer, stirring often. Add meat mixture to sauce pan. Simmer and stir often. In a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan, layer cabbage and tomato mixture. Top with mozzarella cheese slices as your very last layer only. Bake 400 degrees for 30 minutes until cheese is browned. Recipe makes 8 servings. |
