Broccoli Pear Salad
Low Carbohydrate Recipe

Dressing
1/3 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons champaign or white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon sherry
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon agave nectar or syrup

Salad
2 cups broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 cup walnuts
1/4 cup red onion, diced
1-2 ripe pears, cut into thin slices (about 1-3/4 cup after slicing)

Directions:
Mix all the dressing ingredients in a small container or jar. Shake or whisk to combine.

Mix the salad ingredients together in a large salad bowl; separate into 8 serving bowls. Serve with dressing.

Recipe makes eight servings.
