Oriental Tea Jelly
Low Carbohydrate Recipe
Jasmine tea offers a variety of benefits that keep you feeling young and healthy! Enjoy its flavor and nutrients in this tasty oriental tea jelly with only three little carbs. This oriental flavored jelly is made with Jasmine tea and the citrus tang of lemon juice.
1 tablespoon gelatin
2 tablespoons water
3 cups brewed Jasmine tea, still hot
1/2 teaspoon liquid sweetener
1 tablespoon sweetener (such as Stevia)
4 teaspoons lemon juice
In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the 2 tablespoons water. Let stand until softened.
Microwave the gelatin in 30-second increments until liquid. Stir into the tea along with the liquid sweetener, Splenda and lemon juice.
Pour into 6 small dessert dishes or teacups and let set in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
