Chicken, onions, and bell peppers cooked with peas, cream of mushroom soup, water, rice, and salt turning it into a healthful and satisfying skillet supper.

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon olive oil
2 cups ground chicken breasts, skinless
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1/2 cup red and green bell peppers - chopped
1 cup frozen green peas, thawed
1 can (10-3/4 ounce) low fat cream of mushrooms soup
1-3/4 cup water
1 cup long grain white rice
2 teaspoons salt

Recipe Directions

Chicken and Rice Skillet In a saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add chicken, onions, and bell peppers. Cook until chicken is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Stir in peas, cream of mushroom soup, water, rice, and salt. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until rice is done.
