De-Light-ful Chocolate Brownies
Low Fat Recipe - Fight the Fat!

These brownies are cake-like and rich, with little fat and few calories. It's okay to indulge with these!
1-3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup non-sweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
7 egg whites
2/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup low fat buttermilk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2/3 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Combine the applesauce, egg whites, chocolate syrup, buttermilk and sugar. Blend in the flours, cocoa and baking powder. Mix until the batter is smooth. Pour the batter into one 13x9 inch pan.
Bake at 325 for 20 to 25 minutes.
