Brownie Oat Cookies
Low Fat Recipe
These Brownie Oat Cookies are low in fat and simple to make! Quick cooking oats lend flavor and nutrition as does unsweetened cocoa powder.
2/3 cup all purpose flour
2/3 cup white sugar
1 cup quick cooking oats
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 egg whites
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all dry ingredients together. Add egg whites, syrup, and vanilla. Stir well.
Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 12 minutes, until just done. Cool on wire rack.
