Low Fat Recipe
These Tortilla Pinwheels make a great snack or appetizer. Cream cheese, Cheddar, salsa, green onion tops and chili powder rolled into a tortilla and sliced into pinwheels.
1 tablespoon fat free cream cheese
2 tablespoons shredded reduced fat Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons mild salsa
1 tablespoon chopped green onion tops
1/8 teaspoon chili powder
1 (6-inch) low fat flour tortilla
In a small bowl, stir together the cream cheese and Cheddar cheese with a fork until the Cheddar is incorporated. Stir in the salsa, green onion, and chili powder.
Spread the mixture evenly on the tortilla. Roll up and cut off the two ends. Cut tortilla into 4 pieces and serve.
This recipe can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for up to three weeks in the refrigerator or at room temperature.
