Low Fat Recipe - Fight the Fat!

By

Pizza, the ultimate panic food, can be whipped up in no time with an already-prepared pizza crust.

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1 large (12-inch) partially baked pizza crust, such as Boboli
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded fat free mozzarella cheese
1-1/2 ounces pepperoni (about 6 slices)

Recipe Directions

Pepperoni Pizza

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Microwave the mushrooms in a covered 1-quart microwave-safe dish for 2 minutes on high. Meanwhile, combine the tomato paste, water, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl and stir well to blend. Spread the sauce on the partially baked crust and sprinkle with the cheese.

Drain the liquid from the mushrooms and scatter them over the cheese. Top with the pepperoni slices. Bake until the cheese is bubbly and begins to brown at the edges, 10 to 12 minutes. Serve at once.
