Meringue Cookies

Directions: Beat egg whites until stiff with dash of salt and dash of cream of tartar. Add vanilla. In food processor grate chocolate and chop nuts. Mix chocolate, nuts and coconut, then fold into egg whites. Make tablespoonsful into cookie size drops on buttered cookie sheet--they will not change shape Bake at 275 degrees for 30 minutes.
Note: Turn oven off leaving cookies inside for two hours; do not open door during this time. About 1 carb per Meringue Cookie.
