Almond Butter Tart

Almond butter tart is a nutritious and hearty topping for bagels or muffins and it's a snap to make at home. This recipe is similar but adds oat flour to turn almond butter into a tasty tart.
1-1/4 cups sugar substitute (such as Stevia)
2 teaspoons sugar substitute
3/4 cups melted butter
2 teaspoons almond extract
1-1/2 cups oat flour
1/2 cup sliced almonds
Stir 1-1/4 cups sugar substitute and butter in a large bowl.
Stir in eggs and almond extract. Stir in flour.
Pour into greased 9 inch cake pan. Sprinkle 2 teaspoons Splenda and almonds over the top.
Bake at 350 degrees (325 for dark pan) for 40 minutes until golden.
Almond Butter Tart will not test clean with toothpick.
Extra: Almond Butter with Fresh Fruit
Spread one slice whole wheat bread or low carbohydrate bread with 2 tablespoons almond butter. Eat with 1/2 cup each sliced strawberries and sliced kiwifruit. Total calories: 350.
