Almond Butter Tart

Directions: Stir in eggs and almond extract. Stir in flour. Pour into greased 9 inch cake pan. Sprinkle 2 teaspoons Splenda and almonds over the top. Bake at 350 degrees (325 for dark pan) for 40 minutes until golden.
Notes: Almond butter is a nutritious and hearty topping for bagels or muffins and it's a snap to make at home. Just chop whole natural almonds in a food processor and blend with a little vegetable oil and salt and until almost smooth. |
