Strictly Sweet Low Carbohydrate Recipes
True orange popsicles beaming with citrusy orange flavor using sugar free orange jello and diet orange soda.
1 large box sugar free orange jello
4 cups diet orange soda
Bring 2 cups diet orange soda to a boil in the microwave.
Add to 1 large package sugar free diet jello.
Add 2 cups of cold diet orange soda. Place in the freezer in ice cube trays or popsicle molds.
Alternative: Orange Cream Pops
2 cups (16 oz.) plain yogurt
1 can (6 oz.) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
10 popsicle molds or paper cups (3-oz. each) and popsicle sticks
In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, orange juice, concentrate and vanilla. Fill each mold or cup with 1/4 cup yogurt mixture; top with holders or insert sticks into cups. Freeze.
Nutrition information per popsicle: 59 calories, 2g fat, 1g saturated fat, 6mg cholesterol, 23mg sodium, 9g carbs, trace fiber, 2g protein. Diabetic exchange: 1/2 starch.
