Mexican Pork Steaks

Pork blade steaks served Mexican style with chunky salsa, lemon juice, and seasoned with ground cumin and cilantro.

Recipe Ingredients

1 teaspoon vegetable oil
4 pork blade steaks, 1/2 inch thick
1 cup chunky style prepared salsa
1/3 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 cup coriander, chopped

Recipe Directions

Pork Heat oil in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Brown pork steaks on both sides.

Combine remaining ingredients, except cilantro, in a bowl. Season with salt to taste. Pour mixture over chops.

Cover and simmer 10 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve.
