Fishing Lodge Breakfast Trout
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 whole dressed trout, heads removed if desired
Directions:
Place sugar and salt to taste in a covered heavy cast-iron skillet over medium heat.
Cook 3-4 minutes, or until it begins to burn.
Add butter and trout and reduce heat to low.
Cover and cook 5-10 minutes per side, or until fish flakes easily.
