Diabetic Frankly Fudge Healthy Christmas Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup 2 percent milk
1 cup water
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
5 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup sweetener equal to 1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon brandy extract

Directions:
Combine milk and cocoa in a small sauce pan, whisk until lumps of cocoa are gone. Heat over medium flame until thick (about 5 minutes).
In a separate saucepan pour the gelatin into the water, mix and let stand for about 5 minutes. Now heat over low heat or until gelatin dissolves.
Pour into cocoa/milk mixture. Stir in non-sugar sweetener and Brandy extract.
Remove from heat. Pour into prepared 9 x 9 inch dish.
Refrigerate, cut into squares.

The modern Christmas custom of displaying a wreath on the front door of one's house, is borrowed from ancient Rome's New Year's celebrations. Romans wished each other "good health" by exchanging branches of evergreens. They called these gifts strenae after Strenia, the goddess of health. It became the custom to bend these branches into a ring and display them on doorways.
