This pretty and fun to make friendship bracelet is a terrific gift for kids to share with their school mates.
1 bag milk or dark chocolate hearts
12 inches pink or red ribbon
12 inches Velcro
Cover the back of five milk or dark chocolate hearts with velcro.
Cut 12-inches of pink or red ribbon.
Starting three inches from the end of the ribbon, adhere five bars to the ribbon so one side of the Velcro is adhered to the ribbon and the other side is adhered to the chocolate bar.
Note: Make sure to leave at least three inches on the other end so you can tie your delicious bracelet on your friend.
As far as we know, the friendship bracelet is a descendant of Central American Indian crafts. and first appeared in the U.S. during the 1970s. These have since been shared as a sign of lasting friendship. As they evolved, colors began to depict specific traits:
