Tall Glass of Irish Cream

Original Irish Cream Recipe

1 cup heavy cream
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1-2/3 cup Irish Whiskey
1 teaspoon of instant coffee granules
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract

Recipe Directions

In a blender, combine cream, sweetened condensed milk, Irish whiskey, instant coffee and chocolate syrup. Add vanilla and almond extract. Blend on high for 20 to 30 seconds. Store in tightly sealed container and refrigerate. Shake well before serving. Will keep up to two months if refrigerated.

Home Made Irish Cream

This recipe is a very rich, delicious drink for adults. If you're having a party, this is an excellent choice to serve and works year-round! Serve over ice, garnish according to the season, if desired.

3 eggs
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
2-1/2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
16 fluid ounces non-dairy creamer
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1-1/4 cups brandy

Irish Coffee In an electric blender, combine eggs, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate syrup and coffee granules. Blend for three minutes. Add creamer, vanilla extract, almond extract and brandy to the mixture in the electric blender. Blend for 12 minutes. Refrigerate the mixture overnight. Strain the Irish Cream through a cheesecloth, then serve.

*Note: This recipe contains raw eggs. It is recommended pregnant women, young children, the elderly and the infirm do not consume raw eggs.

Recipe makes 4 servings.

Irish Cream Liqueur I

A smooth drink for hot summer evenings.

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup (1.5 fluid ounce) liquid non-dairy creamer
3 (12 ounce) eggs (optional)
1 drop (14 oz) pure vanilla extract
1-1/2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1 cup whiskey

Pour all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until mixed. Pour into a sealable container and store in the refrigerator. Serve in shot glasses. 16 servings.

Irish Cream Liqueur II

This is better than the commercial Irish Cream liqueurs and stores for several weeks in the refrigerator.

1 bottle (750 milliliter) Irish whiskey
8-3/4 ounces milk chocolate
2 cans (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 cans (12 oz) evaporated milk, chopped
2-1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon instant coffee granules

Pour a small amount of whiskey into a large bowl. In the top of a double boiler, melt chocolate, stirring constantly until smooth. Mix the melted chocolate with the whiskey in the bowl. Gradually stir in the sweetened condensed milk and the evaporated milk. Stir in the cream and the remaining whiskey.

Pour mixture into three (750 ml) bottles, seal and store in refrigerator. Best if kept at least one month before using. To serve: shake bottle well, serve in small glasses over crushed ice. Serve over ice. Recipe makes three (750 ml) bottles.
