These recipes speak for themselves. Served in tall, stemmed grog glasses with handles, they make a nice after dinner presentation, or a delicious treat for yourself!

Irish Coffee

This recipe does not include coconut but it is very good just the same!

To each glass add the following:
Shot of heated Irish Whiskey
Hot black coffee
Dash sugar

Recipe Directions

Stir well to dissolve sugar, top with a dollop of whipped cream. (Fat-free or reduced fat if you are on a special diet or just dieting to lose weight).

Pepped-up Irish Coffee

Freshly brewed hot coffee gets an added zip with the addition of Irish whiskey and Irish cream.

Irish Coffee

1 jigger (1.5 fluid ounce) Irish cream liqueur
1 jigger (1.5 fluid ounce) Irish whiskey
1 cup hot brewed coffee
1 tablespoon whipped cream
1 dash ground nutmeg

In a coffee mug, combine Irish cream and Irish whiskey. Fill mug with coffee. Top with a dab of whipped cream and a dash of nutmeg.

Irish Coffee and Cream

Use Irish Cream instead of cream and sugar for a quick, easy Irish Coffee treat!

1 cup strong brewed coffee
1 jigger (1.5 fluid ounce) Irish cream liqueur
Dash nutmeg (optional)

Pour hot brewed coffee into a mug. Stir in Irish Cream. Sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired.

Irish-American Espresso Coffee

An Irish-coffee recipe suitable for Northwestern taste buds!

2 jiggers (1.5 fluid ounce) espresso coffee
2 jiggers (1.5 fluid ounce) Irish whiskey
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon heavy cream, chopped
6 fluid ounces hot water
2 tablespoons whipped cream for garnish

Pour the espresso into your favorite mug, add Irish whiskey, sugar, tablespoon cream and hot water. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream.
