Juicing Lemons and Limes

  • To squeeze the maximum amount of juice from a lemon or lime, bring it to room temperature and roll under your palm to soften the fruit and get the juices flowing. Or, pierce the lime with a fork and microwave it on MEDIUM for 10 to 20 seconds. A medium lemon or lime will typically yield 1 to 2 tablespoons of juice.
