Home Made Whole Kernel Corn
- To make your own whole kernel corn with a unique twist, grill it on the cob until soft and slightly charred on the outside. Then, cut each in half widthwise and place it upright with the cut end flat on a cutting board. Beginning from the top and working toward the middle, carefully shave off the kernels using a chef's knife.
- Another suggestion: Try using a bundt cake pan and putting one end of the corn cob in the hole and cutting. The pan catches the kernels and there's nothing in your way as you're de-kerneling the cob.
