Cooking Squash

  • To cook butternut squash, cut it in half, remove the seeds, peel it, and cut into cubes. Toss the cubes of squash with melted butter or olive oil and bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Uncover the squash and stir the cubes to make sure they cook on all sides. Bake squash an additional 10-20 minutes, until the squash is tender.
