Grilling Corn in the Husk

Sweet Corn

When you grill sweet corn in the husk, it comes out so tender and good that you'll find you don't really need all that butter!

  • To cook corn in the husks on the grill, soak the ears of corn in cold water at least 30 minutes. Drain. Pull back on the husks leaving them attached and remove the silk.
  • Spread one-tablespoon butter over each cob and pull the husks over the kernels; tie at the top with string.
  • Grill 20 to 25 minutes, turning three to four times.

Foil Packet Corn on the Cob

4 ears of shucked corn
1/4 cup butter
Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves
Salt and pepepr to taste
4 ice cubes

Place the ears of corn on a large sheet of foil. Spread the butter on top. Sprinkle with the seasonings and Parmesan cheese. Put the ice cubes on top. Wrap up into a tent pack. Place on hot coals and cook for 20 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
