Easy Fruit Compote
Use dried fruit bits to eliminate chopping. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Directions:
Ingredients:
1 cup water
3 tablespoons honey
3 whole cloves
1 (3-inch) cinnamon stick
1 (3-inch) lemon rind strip
1 (7-ounce) bag dried mixed fruit bits such as Sun-Maid
Combine the first five ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at high six minutes. Remove cloves, cinnamon stick and rind with a slotted spoon, and discard.
Add fruit bits to liquid; microwave at high 1-1/2 minutes. Cover and let stand 20 minutes.
Recipe makes about 2-cups.
